Lancaster is a tool for delivering interfaces to back-end insurance systems. It provides user interface solutions to insurance sales personnel as well as other channels, including self-service.
The basic concept is to provide tempting and user-friendly state-of-the-art solutions together with back-end integration. Usability and attractive design are added benefits. All this is combined with a good workflow and attractive graphic design.
Lancaster is now a well-established product. It started off as a design pattern for Java with a number of unique features for creating applications for the internet. The original version was used for the last time in 2008 and in 2009 it was replaced with a version based on the Adobe technology Flex, which is now known under the Flash family brand.
